Dr. Eddie Richardson, Medical Director for AXIS, selected to AAFP Board of Trustees!

Congrats to our own Dr. Eddie Richardson, Jr., MD, FAAFP, for being selected as a Physician Trustee on the AAFP (American Academy of Family Physicians) Foundation's Board of Trustees. Dr. Richardson serves as the Medical Director for AXIS. He is also the Medical Director/CEO for Lake Oconee Urgent & Primary Care Center and Lake Oconee Concierge Medicine. We congratulate Dr. Richardson on this wonderful achievement!

We want to recognize the accomplishments of our staff. Talk about diversity...Mara Sanchez, in addition to her nursing skills, recently graduated with an Associate in Welding Technology. Mara plans to teach welding technology at a local Technical College and eventually do mission trips to build educational and faith based facilities.
We are so proud of you Mara!

Meet Bryan Armour, RN- our Director of Nursing here at AXIS. Bryan heads up our talented and experienced team of nurses. Bryan has been married to his wife Melissa for 32 years and lives on a horse farm with his daughter Bethany and son-in-law Trey. Bryan also has two grandchildren, Remington, age 5 and Colton, age 3. Our clients regularly lean on Bryan for his expertise around workplace injuries and workers comp. In fact, here is what Fred Toler, Safety Director for Champion Specialty Services recently said about Bryan - “Bryan’s knowledge and expertise in my opinion of 35+ years in the Occupation Safety Profession is second to none. He is a true professional at providing optimal care and guidance for occupational medicine that is unparalleled in our industry”.
Bryan and his team are focused on providing superior care for injured workers while improving safety performance indicators for AXIS’ clients. We thank Bryan for his hard work and dedication!
